Mr. William George Woods, 56, resident of Lyons, GA, passed away Thursday, January 23,2025 in Claxton, Georgia.  William was born in Okeechobee, Florida, son of the late Albert Andrew Woods, Sr. and Venita Tant Woods. William was a mechanic.

Will was a very loving father to Drew and Amber.  He loved his racing family.  He loved Saturday Night at the track! He loved spending time with his brothers Al and Lee at the race shop working on a car to see how they could make it do better in the turns. He was an animal lover. His fur babies "Puppy" and Gizzie" will miss him dearly.

Services for Mr. Woods will be held Saturday, January 25,2025  at 2:00P.M. from the Chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home with Joey Lamb officiating.

The Family will receive friends at Tomlinson Funeral Home Saturday from 12:00 P.M. until the funeral at 2:00 P.M.

Survivors include a daughter--Amber Sweat

7 grandchildren-- Emilee, Kailynne, Hadlee, TC, Cheyenne, Chris, Donovan

3 great grandchildren-- Jett, Eleanor, Nash

2 brothers-- Lee Woods(Gale)
