Mr. William Harris Roberts, Sr. went to be with his Lord and Savior Friday afternoon .  William was born in Carrabelle, Florida,  son of the late Mack and Janie Rickards Roberts.  In addition to his parents , William was preceded in death by a sister, Jeanette Brinson. Mr. Roberts was a graduate of Swainsboro High School  Class of 1948. William was a United States Air Force Veteran.    He  was the owner and operator of Swainsboro Saw Works for over 25 years until his retirement.  He was a member of  the  Freewill Baptist.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 11:00 A.M. from the chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home  with Reverend Jim Harrell  officiating.  Interment with military honors  will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery in the Dellwood Community.  Pallbearers will be:  Bradley Roberts, Blake Roberts, Michael Roberts, Christopher Pinard, Jed Crapps, and Joey Crapps, III.   The Family will receive friends Monday evening from 6-8 P.M. at Tomlinson Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years -Barbara Ann Roberts

sister-- Frances Stewart
