Mr. William Bryant Ivey, 87, resident of Dublin and former resident of Hiawassee , Georgia , died Tuesday in Dublin . Mr. Ivey was born in Scott , Georgia , son of the late William R. Ivey and Nancy Logue Ivey. Mr. Ivey had worked for Chevron and was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of McConnell Baptist Church in Hiawassee. Mr. Ivey was a Gideon.

Memorial services for Mr. William Bryant Ivey will be held Friday afternoon at 3:00 P.M. from Ivey Baptist Church with Reverend Louis Pearce officiating. The Family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ivey Baptist Church , 3045 New Buckeye Rd. ,Wrightsville,GA 31096, Gideon's International, P.O. Box 140800, Nashville, TN 37214, or Alzheimers Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington,DC 20090-6011 in memory of Mr. William Bryant Ivey.
