William Henry Curl, 74, resident of Swainsboro, died Sunday, September 20, 2020 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center.  Henry was born in Swainsboro, son of the late Raymond Curl and Bessie Lee Tant Curl.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Betty Curl.  Henry had been employed with the Emanuel County Sheriff's office since 1984.  He was a member of Georgia Peace  Officer's Association and a member of  Bithynia  Baptist Church.

Graveside services for Mr. William Henry Curl  will be held Wednesday , September 23, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. from the Swainsboro City Cemetery with  Sheriff Tyson Stephens  and Pastor Chad  Kennison officiating.  Honorary pallbearers will be the Emanuel County Sheriff's Department.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Georgia Sheriff's Youth Home, Herrington Homestead,   8109 Hwy 297, Nunez, Georgia 30448.

Due to the covid-19 Pandemic, social distancing and the use of a face mask is recommended.

Grandchildren-- Corey Swymer, Candace Curl, Cameron Curl, Sage Curl,  Justin Edenfield (Kristen), Jessica Boulineau(Kelly), Brandon Fields(Amy),  and Madison Curl.

Great grandchildren--Kennedy Rae Boulineau, Gracie Edenfield, Maycie Edenfield

4 sisters-- Dolly Newsome, Eloise Trull, Cherry Allen, and Debra Alford

Several nieces and nephews.
