Mr. Walter Edison Allen, 90, resident of Swainsboro, passed away Tuesday evening at his residence. Walter was born in Glenwood, Georgia, son of the late Oscar and Elizabeth Buchanan Allen. Mr. Allen had retired  from Greyhound Bus Company as a driver. Walter was a member of Fowler Avenue Baptist Church in Tampa, Florida and was a United States Navy veteran. He was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 3 sisters.

Memorial services will be held  Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 2:00P.M. from the chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home with Chaplain Jonathon Shepard officiating. The Family will receive friends at Tomlinson Funeral Home from 1:00P.M. until the funeral at 2:00P.M..The Family will receive friends at Tomlinson Funeral Home from 1:00 P.M. until the memorial service at  2:00 P.M.

son--Walter E. Allen

daughter- Peggy Sue Allen

daughter--Ramona K. Allen

7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren.
