TOMLINSON FUNERAL HOME 718 South Main St. Swainsboro, GA 30401 Ph. 478-237-3691 February 27, 2014 Mrs. Virginia Reece Ray, age 88, of Swainsboro, died Thursday Morning February 27, 2014 at Emanuel County Nursing Home. Mrs. Ray, Formerly of Douglas, was born in Ware County, but had lived in Emanuel County since 1951. She was retired from Perrys Auto Auction as a Secretary. Mrs. Ray was a member of the First United Methodist Church, the Historical Society, 55 and Alive, the Pilot Club, and the Volunteer Leader Association of the 4 H Council. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon A. Ray, her parents; J.R. Reece,Sr. and Cora Slater Reece; brothers, J.R. Reece and W.O. Reece; sisters; Frances R. Gasken, and Sara Reece; a Son in law, David Bailes, and a Great Grandson, Jake Hagan. Funeral services will Saturday morning at 10:00 am. in the Chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home with Reverend Joe Bedgood and Reverend Curt Grimm officiating. Interment will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Dellwood. Pallbearers will be: Mike Ray, David Sherman, Bo Hagan, Billy Mason, Randy Farrow, Sr., and Larry Kea. She is survived by: 2 Sons; Randall Ray (Susan) of Swainsboro Don Ray (Linda) of Swainsboro 2 Daughters: Ann Kea (Gene) of Swainsboro Sandra Bailes of Adrian A sister: Mary R.
