Violet A. Mckenzie's Obituary
Violet Margaret McKenzie, 95, of Macon, GA passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2019.
Born December 5, 1923 in Savannah, GA, and raised in Ohoopee, GA. She was the daughter of the late
Grover and Nora Anderson and was one of ten children.
She is survived by her son Rosby, daughter-in-law Ava and grandchildren Benjamin McKenzie (Kellie),
Heather Burke (Shannon), Kim Lane (River), Grant Crossland (Ronni Lynn); great grandchildren Beau,
Olivia, Brannon, Adalyn, River, Kole and Zandan; her twin sister, Viola McKenzie, her baby sister Glenda
Tarver.
Violet was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Rosby McKenzie Sr. and grandson Gerald Rosby
(Rad) McKenzie III.
Visitation will be Monday, November 4, 2019 at Tomlinson Funeral Home in Swainsboro from 5-7 P.M. Graveside
Service will be Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at Macon Memorial Park in Macon, GA at 11:00 A.M.
