Viola Oneta  Scarboro, 86,  lifelong  resident of Emanuel County, died Monday  at Emanuel Medical Center.   She was the daughter of the late Luke and Rosalee Moore  Peebles. She was preceded in death by her parents, son George Arthur Scarboro, 4 infant sons, brothers- Talmadge Peebles, George L. Peebles, Rudolph Peebles, and a sister Christine Roberson.  Viola was a  homemaker and a member of Calvary United Methodist Church.

Funeral services for Viola Oneta Scarboro will be held Wednesday morning at 11:00 A.M. from Calvary United Methodist Church  with  Reverend Mark Miller , Reverend Nick Hazleton, and Elder Tommy Rountree officiating. Interment will follow in the Swainsboro City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Roy Joe Peebles, Johnny Mills, Hunter Mills, Kendall Peebles, Tommy Scarboro, and Joseph Kersey. The Family will receive friends at Tomlinson Funeral Home  this evening (Tuesday)  between the hours of 6-8 P.M.
