Tominson Funeral Home & Crematory announces the death of Mrs. Viola Szabelski Johnson age 96 of Swainsboro on Friday, March 3, 2023 at the Emanuel Medical Center Nursing Home following an extended illness.

Memorial Services will be Saturday, March 11 2023 at 2:30 PM in the chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Tidwell officiating.

Mrs. Johnson was born in Trenton, NJ to the late Mr. and Mrs. Valenti "Wally" and Stella Sulesky Szabelski. She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church.  "Miss Viola" was a devoted mother who loved her sons and daughter-in-law dearly. She also loved her church family and friends. Her hobbies in working in the yard, tending her flowers and "going out to eat". In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Wallace D. Johnson and stepfather Everett Kemp.

Her Sons: Kenneth Johnson of Ranch Santo Margarito, CA and Wallace Johnson (Sandie) of Trenton, NJ.

Devoted Friend: Helen Thain of Swainsboro, GA.
