Verreda Ann Hayslip Mills, 67, resident of Swainsboro, died Thursday at her residence.  Mrs. Mills was born in Swainsboro, daughter of the late J.E. and Nanny Lou Flanders Hayslip.  She was preceded in death by her husband Roger Mills.  Verreda was  a graduate of Swainsboro High School and Swainsboro Tech.  Mrs. Mills had retired from Georgia Southern University.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Mills will be held Saturday afternoon at 3:00 P.M. from the Chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home  with Reverend Jack Stafford and Reverend Jody Jordan officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be -- Michael Hayslip, Brian Hayslip, Clay Hayslip, and Cody Hayslip. The Family will receive friends at Tomlinson Funeral Home Saturday afternoon from 1:00 P.M. until the funeral hour of 3:00 P.M.
