Valerie Edenfield age 61 passed Wednesday, August 27, 2025, surrounded by family.

Valerie was a Swainsboro, GA native that lived in Winona, TX for several years. She was a long-time instrumentation worker; she traveled around the country and made many friends along the way. Valerie loved her children and family. She enjoyed tending to her yards and garden.

Valerie was preceded in death by her mother Lady Screws Scarboro, stepfather Larry Joe Scarboro, father Ivey Edenfield, and brothers Dean Edenfield and Timothy Edenfield.

Survivors Include:

Sisters: Jeannie Kirby, and Leila Brown (Andy Henry)

Brother: Daniel Edenfield

Many Nieces, Nephews and extended family.

Two Sons: Christopher Edenfield (Jennifer), and Kenny Edenfield

Daughter: Jaimie Roton

Nine Grandchildren: Micha Edenfield, Mason Edenfield, Zachary Caldwell, Isaac Caldwell, Rachel Caldwell, Joshua Campbell, Bradlee Roton, Monaia Haynes, & Augustus Haynes

Memorial services will be held Friday, August 29, 2025, at 5:30 PM at Tomlinson Funeral Home.

Tomlinson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for the services of Valerie Edenfield.
