Ted W. Stockholm went home to be with his Lord and Savior Friday April 5, 2019 after an extended illness.

With his earthly battles over he joined his parents Harold and Marion Stockholm, sisters Jean MacGreoge, Shirley Singer and Mary Severcool, a son Kenneth W. Stockholm.

He was born in Hallstead, Pa. February 16, 1938.  He was a graduate of Montrose High School, and had retired from the United States Air Force.  He attended Swainsboro Tech and retired from Roper Lawn Mower Manufacturing.  He loved to hunt and fish, paint wildlife art, and put puzzles together.  Ted was a member of the First United Methodist Church where he taught Sunday School and worked several board positions.  He worked 6 years with the Walk to Emmaus and served the Kairos community for 9 years.  He was a volunteer at the Swainsboro Food Pantry, was a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) and was a volunteer with the Emanuel Medical Center with over 4600 hours.

Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 1:00 P.M. in the Swainsboro First United Methodist Church with Reverend Bob Norwood, Reverend Wayne DeFore and Reverend David Unkles officiating. Interment will follow in Eastbrook Cemetery with full military honors.  Pallbearers will be : Michael Hood, Rob Stephenson, Payton Stephenson, Eric Hughes, Austin Stockholm and Tyler Hood.  Honorary pallbearers will be Emanuel Medical Center Volunteers, Kairos Volunteers and the Leroy Williams Sunday School Class.   The Family will receive friends at Tomlinson Funeral Home Sunday evening from  5-7 P.M.
