Stephen Dixon Hattaway, 72, resident of Midville, Georgia, died Wednesday  at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro.  Stephen was born in Emanuel County son of the late Edward and Marian D. Streight Hattaway. He was a veteran of the United States Navy having served in the Vietnam War.  Stephen had been employed as a warehouseman with  AT&T Alascom.

Memorial services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:00 P.M. from the chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home with Reverend Michael Williams officiating.

Survivors include--Wife-- Terry Hattaway, Midville,GA

Son-- Stephen Dax Hattaway, Murfreesboro, TN

Dau.---Tilly  A. Ramos,  Nashville, TN

Step daughter-- Casandra Pannell, Midville,GA

Grandchildren-- Dominique Pannell, Isiah Tann, Ronan Tann, ,  DeAngelo Moody and Savannah Hattaway

Arrangements are by Tomlinson Funeral Home  and Crematory of Swainsboro
