Mr. Spencer Joe Webb, 64, resident of Swainsboro, died Tuesday evening at East Georgia Regional Medical Center in Statesboro. Joey was born in Macon, Georgia son of the late Richard E. Webb and Dorothy M. Douglas Webb.  He had retired from Norfolk -Southern Railroad as a Foreman.  He was a member and Deacon  of Temple Baptist Church , a member of the NSSAR, and commander of the Sons of Confederate Veterans.

Memorial services will be held Saturday at 12:00 noon  from the Chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home with Reverend Louis Pearce and Reverend Emory Fennell officiating. The Family will receive friends  one hour prior to the service at Tomlinson Funeral Home.

Survivors include ---wife-- Alice Webb

Daughter-- B.J. Webb Johnson(Chad)

Grandchildren-- Chloe and Phoebe Daniel

Several nieces and nephews.
