Mrs. Sara Lou Kirkland Scott, 70, resident of Twin City , died Sunday afternoon at Memorial Health University Hospital in Savannah . Mrs. Scott was born in Emanuel County daughter of the late Robert A. and Ester Harper Kirkland. She was a 1963 graduate of Swainsboro High School . Sara had worked in the School Lunchroom and had worked for Ithaca in the sewing division. She was a member of Bythinia Primitive Baptist Church . She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother Lane Kirkland.

Funeral services for Mrs. Sara Lou Kirkland Scott will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday morning from the chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home with Reverend George Archer,Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Coleman Cemetery in Twin City , Georgia . The Family will receive friends Tuesday evening between the hours of 6-8 P.M. at Tomlinson Funeral Home.
