Tomlinson Funeral Home & Crematory announces the death of Ms. Samantha Annette Knox McCurdy age 55 of Augusta, GA on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at Comfort Creek Nursing Home in Wadley, GA.

Samantha was born in Augusta to Mr. Norman Stanley Knox, Sr. and the late Mrs. Carolyn Holton Gulley. She was a former General Manager for Kentucky Fried Chicken. She loved singing along to rock and roll music, taking pictures, and getting her hair done.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life for Ms. McCurdy at a later date.

Her Son: Daniel Ivy Brown of North Augusta, SC

Grandchildren: Bryson Rosier, Kayleigh Armstrong, Glenn Armstrong, Jr., and Cheyenne Cawley

Brother: Norman Stanley Knox, Jr. (Cynthia) of Arizona

Aunt: Terri Skinner of Edgefield, SC
