Rubye Delle Mcbride, 96, resident of Swainsboro, died Monday morning at her residence.  Rubye was born in Kite,GA daughter of the late Horace McBride  and Hattie Chalker McBride. She had lived here  all of her life.  She had been in the child care  business  for many years  before she retired.  Rubye was preceded in death by her parents, brother W.A. McBride, sister Stella Way, nieces  Diane Wilson and Brenda Brewer.

Funeral services for Rubye Delle McBride will be held Friday morning June 30, at 11:00 A.M.  from the chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home with Elder Tommy Rountree officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Dellwood.  Pallberers will be-- Ricky Norris, Jerry Way, Tony Way, Wayne Harper, Brian Harper, and David Rountree.   Honorary pallbearers will be-- Walter and Glenda Tapley, Faye Mitchell, Joey and Donna Kay, Wayne and Linda Folds, Bill and Judy McWhorter, Martha and Charles Flanders, Joyce Steptoe, Robert and Sandra Thompson, Sid Shepherd, Jerry and Paula Cadle, and Miriam Fagler.

The Family of Mrs. Rubye McBride will receive friends at Tomlinson Funeral Home Thursday evening between the hours of 6-8 P.M.
