Mr. Rodney E. Kellum,61, resident of Swainsboro, died Thursday ,December 8, 2016 at his residence. Mr. Kellum was born in Tupelo , Mississippi son of the late Marvin and Mary Kellum.Mr. Kellum was a lifelong member of FFA, a former member of the Jaycees, Kiwanis and many other civic associations. He was a graduate of Mississippi State and had worked for Union Camp for 20 years as a Forrester and had been an instructor at Swainsboro Tech. He loved helping with various charities such as the Diabetes Association and the Childrens Miracle Network. He loved working with the Pinetree Festival Committee. Rodney was an avid hunter, fisherman , and nature lover. He absolutely loved his family.

Funeral Services for Mr. Rodney E. Kellum will be held Saturday evening at 7:00 P.M. from the chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home with Reverend Daniel Folds officiating.The Family will receive friends at the funeral home
Saturday evening from 6P.M. until the memorial service at 7:00 P.M.

Survivors include his wife-- Vanessa Nettles Kellum

Son-- Ronnie Howard

Daughter-- Jennifer(Kevin) Rich

Grandchildren-- Jerrison Howard, Peyton Rich, Miranda Rich

3 brothers-- Edward(Natlie) Kellum

Jeff (Paula) Kellum

Charles(Tammie)Kellum

In lieu of flowers, Mr. Kellum's request was for those that desire,plant a tree in memory of Rodney.
