Frecker, age 77, of Swainsboro, died Thursday morning, July 5, 2012, at his residence. Mr. Frecker, born in Congo, Ohio, and formerly of Newark, Ohio, had lived in Swainsboro for the past 36 years. He was a member of Hawhammock Baptist Church, where he was a Deacon, and Facility Manager. He was past President of the Kiwanis Club of Swainsboro and Newark, Ohio, Swainsboro Country Club, and Men's Golf Association. Mr. Frecker was a past member of the Board of Directors and member of Swainsboro/Emanuel County Chamber of Commerce, a member of American Electro Platers Society, a member of Dayspring Emmaus Community. He was Vice President of Newark Electro Plating, in Newark, Ohio, and President/Owner of Swainsboro Electro Plating. Mr. Frecker loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren, and was an avid golfer, known for his "chipping" and "putting" ability. Memorials may be made to the United Hospice of Swainsboro, 667 South Main St. Swainsboro, Ga. 30401,or Hawhammock Baptist Church missions, 27 Hawhammock Church Rd., Swainsboro,Ga. 30401, in Memory of Mr. Robert (Bob) Frecker. He was preceded in death by his parents; Paul and Helen Frecker, a son, David Spencer, 2 brothers; Paul and Jimmy Frecker and a Sister, Joanne Murphy. Funeral Services will be Monday morning at 11:00 am., at Hawhammock Baptist Church with Reverend Cail Pressey and Reverend Mark Galo officiating. Interment will follow in the Church cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Bob Youmans, Roy Kilpatrick, Al Thomas, Raiford Johnson, Larry Swanson, Billy Edenfield, Milan Turner, and Chris Lewis. Honorary Pallbearers will be; Deacons of Hawhammock Baptist Church, Members of Swainsboro Country Club and Men's Golf Association, along with employees of Swainsboro Electro Plating.
