Mr. Richard "Ricky" Newman,57, resident of Savannah, died Tuesday at his residence.  Ricky was born in Savannah , son of Dorothy Edenfield Newman and the late Leon Newman. Ricky graduated from  Savannah High School and was a painting contractor. He was a Baptist.

Funeral services for Ricky Newman will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday from the Chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home with   Reverend Michael Williams   officiating.  Interment will follow in the NewmanCemetery. The Family will receive friends at Tomlinson Funeral Home beginning at 12:00Noon until 2:00 P.M.

Sons-- Clay Newman, Richard Newman, Chandler Crawford, and Cole Crawford

Daughters-- Savannah Crawford and Farrah Crawford

Grandchildren-- Christopher Newman and Joshua Newman

Sister-- Donna Newman Brockman

Brother in Law-- Clark Brockman

Nephew-- Zachary Brockman
