Tomlinson Funeral Home & Crematory announces the death of Mr. Richard Clay Brown age 64 of Midville on Thursday, July 30, 2026.

Funeral services will be Sunday, August 2, 2026, at 3:00 Pm in the Chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home with Elder Will Martin officiating.

The family with receive friends on Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 6:00-8:00 Pm at Tomlinson Funeral Home.

Interment will be in the Hines Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Henry Fulghum, Nicky Drake, Scotty Harrison, Jamie Edenfield, Kevin Strange, and Tony Brown.

Mr. Brown was born in Emanuel County to the late Robert Milton and Sarah Virginia Stephens Brown. Richard loved fishing, woodworking and taking photographs of nature. 

Survivors Include:

Five Sisters: Beverly Harrison (Jimmy), Barbara Strange (Chan), Susan Drake Bishop, Brenda Andrews (Freddy), Shirley Paige Jones (Ron).

Several Nieces, Nephews, and extended family.
