November 6, 2014 Mr. Rees Albert Snedaker,II, age 88, died Thursday morning at Emanuel Medical Center. Mr. Snedaker was born in Key West , Florida son of the late Commander Ray E. and May Rose Snedaker. Mr. Snedaker received a bachelor of Science Degree in Forestry from the University of Florida and was a veteran of WWII having served in the United States Navy. He had retired as a Forester from ITT Rayionier,Inc. Mr. Snedaker was a member of St. Peters Episcopal Church in Fernandina Beach, Florida and had attended the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Swainsboro. Weiss Snedaker , brotherSamuel Curry Snedaker and a sister-Grace Hall Snedaker. There will be a family memorial service with military honors held in Florida at a later date.
