Mr. Black was born in Wadley and had lived here all his life. He was a certified Appliance Technician and a member of St. Johns United Methodist Church. He was preceded in Death his parents; Jessie Lee and Ruthie Black and a son Ray Thomas Black, Jr. Memorials may be made to; St. Johns United Methodist Church Building Fund, in care of Jessie Williams, P.O. Box 503 Wadley, Ga. 30477, in memory of Mr. Ray Thomas Black, Sr. Funeral services will be Thursday morning at 11:00 am at St. Johns United Methodist Church with Reverend Pat Holbert and Reverend Morris Brantley officiating. Interment will be in Wadley City Cemetery. He is survived by: His wife; Janice Black of Wadley A son; Charles C. Brown (Andrea) of Swainsboro 2 brothers; Ernest Black (Ellen) of Wadley and Robert Black (Gloria) of Wadley 2 Sisters; Jessie Williams (Gene) of Wadley and Reba Fortner (R.E.) of Wadley Several nieces and nephews.
