Randy Lewis Rowland, 62, resident of Tifton, GA, died Wednesday afternoon at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta after a lengthy illness. Mr. Rowland was born in Swainsboro,Georgia, son of Lewis and Mary Rowland. Mr. Rowland was retired from industrial supply sales. He was a member of Sardis Primitive Baptist Church . Randy was an avid turkey hunter. A memorial service for Mr. Rowland will be held Saturday morning at 11:00 A.M. at Sardis Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Lindy Webb officiating. The family will receive friends at Tomlinson Funeral Home Friday evening between the hours of 6-9 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Georgia Wild Turkey Federation, C/O Ken Whitley, 3676 Christopher Drive, Macon,GA 31216 in memory of Mr. Randy Lewis Rowland. There will be a Celebration of Life for Mr. Rowland Saturday afternoon at 4 :00 P.M. from Coleman Lake in Midville.
