Mrs. Peggy Tapley Rich, resident of Swainsboro, died Thursday September 14, 2017 at Augusta University Medical Center .  Mrs. Rich was born in Emanuel County, daughter of the late Clinton Tapley and Ollie Mae Durden Tapley. She had been employed by the Emanuel County Board of Education.  Peggy was a member of Swainsboro First United Methodist Church.

Memorial services for Mrs. Rich will be held Sunday afternoon at 3:00 P.M. from the chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home with  Reverend David Unkles officiating.  The Family will receive friends at Tomlinson Funeral Home  Sunday  from 2:00 P.M.  until the service at 3:00 P.M.  In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Swainsboro First United Methodist Church in memory of Peggy Rich.
