P.O.Box 515 Wadley, Ga. 30477 Ph. 478-252-5903 Obituary Notice November 18, 2012 Bartow, GA-Patricia "Patsy" Todd Jordan, wife of Hubert Jordan, Jr., died early Sunday morning, Nov.18, at MCG. A celebration of her life will be held Tuesday, November 20. Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the Bartow United Methodist Church. The funeral will be at 3:00pm with the Rev. David Boggs officiating. After the funeral a gathering will be held at the family home, Magnolia Mornings, in Bartow, Ga. Interment will be in the Bartow Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Al Fennell, Joe Todd, Sean Jordan, Will McKettrick, Bryan McKettrick and Marcus Sowell. Patsy loved Bartow. She went above and beyond in her civic duty. She decorated the town and its park for all holidays. She will be sorely missed. One of her major achievements was the Bartow Museum of which she was both the founder and curator. All of Bartow is on the Historic Register. Her early life began in Perry, GA. She graduated from Perry High School in 1959. She graduated from UGA in 1963 with a major in Special Education and taught school in Gwinnett County for 18 years. For the last 20 years she has lived in Bartow. She was a member of Bartow United Methodist Church and was the church pianist. Patsy was the owner/operator of Magnolia Mornings B&B and a major contributor to the Schoolhouse Players. Survivors include: her Husband, Hubert Jordan, Jr.; 2 sons, Todd Jordan of Atlanta, GA and Hubert Jordan, III (Stacy) of Macon, GA., grandchildren are Sean and Seth Jordan: 1 sister, Rita (Charles) Hall and 1 brother, Terry (Beverly) Todd.
