Obituary

November 14,2015 Mrs. Nan Durden McMillan, 93, resident of Old Kenfield Rd.,, died Saturday November 14,2015 at her residence. Nan was born and raised in Stillmore,Georgia, daughter of the late Lewis Elton and Kittie Williams Durden. She returned to Stillmore after living and working in Savannah for 35 years. She had worked as a book keeper for the Local 188 Plumbers and Steamfitters Union in Savannah. Mrs. McMillan was a former member of the American Business Womens Association of Savannah and had served two terms as president of the association. She is preceded in death by her husband Ronald McMillan, two sisters- Nelle Durden and Mary Juanita Phillips, a brother Lewis Elton Durden. Nan dedicated her life to her Family and helping others. She loved her dogs and her garden. Funeral services for Nan Durden McMillan will be held Monday November 16,2015 at 2:00 P.M.. from the chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home with Reverend Franklin Sasser officiating. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Louis Phillips, Demetrias Durden, Daryl Cauthen, and Allen Hooks. The Family will receive friends Sunday evening between the hours of 6-8 P.M. at Tomlinson Funeral Home. Survivors -- Daughter- Sherry Durden Scarboro Collins (Remer) 4 grandchildren--Parrish Scarboro, Clayton Scarboro, Shannon Scarboro, and Shon Scarboro stepgrandson-Buck Collins 2 greatgrandchildren--Jade Scarboro and Zayne Scarboro Brother -- Gwinette Durden The Family would like to acknowledge the Pruitt Hospice of Swainsboro Staff for their care, kindness and support.
