December 18 ,2013 Mrs. Zelma Myra Hammock Price, age 73, resident of Swainsboro, died Wednesday afternoon at Emanuel Medical Center. Mrs. Price was born in a log house near Adrian. Her parents were Charlie Tillman and Rachel Jane Hammock. Mrs. Price was preceded in death by her brother Timmie Hammock. She graduated from Adrian High School in 1958 . After graduating Reinhardt College ,she married Hugh Henry. Mrs. Price worked for Richmond County Department of Family and Children Services and Emanuel County DFCS. She retired in 2008. Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 11:00 A.M. from the chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home with Reverend Harvard Hudson officiating. Interment will follow in the Poplar Springs Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Adam Sherrod, Jamie Henry, Tal Henry and Jesse Ervin. The family will receive friends at Tomlinson Funeral Home Friday evening between the hours of 6-8 P.M.
