Mildred Beasley Lovins, 87, resident of Swainsboro, died Friday at her residence. Mrs. Lovins was born in Candler County, Georgia , daughter of the late William Thomas Beasley and Myra Kennedy Beasley. She had retired from the Georgia Department of Transportation where she was a stenographer. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 63 years, James Lovins, and a son James David Lovins. Mildred was a member of the Ida Bell Williams Book Club and a member of the Emanuel Arts Council.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at Eastbrook Cemetery with Reverend Joe Bedgood officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Make A- Wish ,Georgia, 1702 East Highland Ave., Suite 400, Phoenix, AZ 85016 or to the Shriners Hospital For Children, P.O. Box 1510 , Ranson, WV 25438-4510 in memory of Mrs. Lovins.
