Tomlinson Funeral Home & Crematory announces the death of Mrs. Merrilou Morris Johnson age 58 of Swainsboro on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at St. Joseph's Candler Hospital in Savannah.

Memorial Services will be held Friday, June 2, 2023, at 12:00 PM in the Tomlinson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jim Harrell officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the time of service.

Mrs. Johnson was born in Great Lakes, IL to Marion and Louise Herring Morris. She was a graduate of Brunswick High School. Merrilou worked as a medical assistant. She enjoyed exercising, eating well, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. She loved being outdoors working with her flowers and living in her cabin. Mrs. Johnson was a member of Nunez Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father and her beloved pet Troupe.

Her Husband of 33 years: Randy Johnson of Swainsboro, GA

Her Mother: Louise Herring Morris of Brunswick, GA

Brother: Marshall Morris (Debbie) of Hendersonville, NC

Nieces, Nephews, and extended family.
