Melvie Wilson Stephens died Tuesday, January 18, 2021 in Appling, Georgia.  She was born in Emanuel County, daughter of the late Leo Wilson and Sallie Durden Wilson. Melvie had worked in the Emanuel County Public Schools for many years and was a member of Norristown Missionary Baptist Church.

Memorial services for Melvie Stephens will be held Thursday morning at 11:00 A.M. from the chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home with Reverend Hal Wilson officiating. The Family will receive friends at Tomlinson Funeral Home from 10:00 A.M. until the service at 11:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Norristown Missionary Baptist Church in memory of Melvie Stephens.

Survivors include -- 2 daughters-- Deloris Whaley(Barry)

Sally Knight

Grandchildren-- Renee Peloquin, Jennifer Davis, Kristy Phillips, and Travis Knight

7 great grandchildren

special niece-- Marlene Liddell

brother-- W.J. Wilson

Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, social distancing and the use of face coverings  is  recommended.
