Ms. Torres was born in Candler County daughter of the late Jesse and Margie Johnson Mincey. She had lived in Statesboro before returning to Candler County. She was a caregiver prior to her illness. Funeral services for Ms. Mary Elizabeth Torres will be held Saturday morning at 11:00 A.M.in the chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home with Reverend Roy Jarriel officiating.
