Tomlinson Funeral Home announces the death of Mrs. Mary Ellen Drake 82 of Swainsboro on Friday, February 10, 2023 at the Emanuel Medical Center Nursing Home.

Funeral services will be Sunday, February 12, 2023 at 4:00 PM  in the Tomlinson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Nary officiating.

Interment will follow in the Swainsboro City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 3-4PM at Tomlinson Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Randy Johnson, Steve Wells, Doug Bennett, Shane Woods, Jared Drake, Justin Drake

Mrs. Drake was born in Adrian, GA to the late  F.E. and Althea Darley Woods, JR. She was a member of the Swainsboro First Church of the Nazarene. Mrs. Drake was the office manager for Goldkist. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Billy Drake, Sr. and brother Jimmy G. Woods.

Survivors Include:

Her Son and Daughter-in-Law: Billy J. and Donna C. Drake of Swainsboro

Her Grandchildren: Justin D. Drake, Josie D. Drake, and Jared D. Drake
