Mrs. Mary Jean Blatt, 76, resident of Swainsboro, died Thursday February 23,2017 at Doctors Hospital in Augusta.  Mrs. Blatt was born in Milford, Ct. daughter of the late Arthur James and Edna Burns Chedister and had lived here for the past 14 years.She was preceded in death by her husband Harry Blatt.  Mary was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church where she was church sacristan.

Funeral mass for Mary Blatt will be held Saturday February 25 at 12:00 Noon at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Father Peter Oyenugba officiating.

Survivors include her children-- William (Jenny), Debra(Kenny), Jeffrey, Darnese(Wes), Dorrae(Frank)

many grandchildren and greatgrandchildren, many nieces and nephews

brothers-- Jimmy, and John

sisters-- Kaye, Joan, Patricia, and Ann
