Tomlinson Funeral Home & Crematory announces the death of Mr. Marvin Wyatt Youngblood age 84 of Swainsboro on Sunday, April 14, 2024, at his residence.

Mr. Youngblood was born on May 11, 1939, in Emanuel County to the late Elmo and Nellie Brown Youngblood. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Swainsboro. He was ordained a deacon at Hillcrest Baptist Church in 1971. Wyatt was blessed to be a lay speaker for many years and made many lifelong friends. He was a Army veteran with the 82nd Airborne Division. He retired from True Value.

His Wife of 60 years: Wanda Youngblood of Swainsboro.

His Son: Kendall Youngblood (Karen) of Gig Harbor, WA

His Daughter: Sharon Patrick (Kevin) of Brooklet, GA

Granddaughter: Ashley Rushing (Brett) of Brooklet, GA

Grandson: Tommy Patrick (Emily) of Brooklet, GA

Sister: Myra Underwood of Greenville, SC.

Two Brothers: George Youngblood, Graniteville, SC, and Dean Youngblood (Gayle) of Union Mills, NC.

Several Nieces, Nephews, and extended family.

Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at 11AM in the Hawhammock Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery with Military Honors rendered with Rev. Louis Pearce and Rev. Casey Shaw officiating.
