Marianne Lawson, 68, resident of Swainsboro, died Thursday morning January 4, 2018 at her residence.  Marianne was born in Savannah , daughter of the late Zackie and Vera Mae Tyson Lawson. After high school, Marianne attended Bauder College in Atlanta.  She was a homemaker and a member of United Primitive Baptist Church of Swainsboro.

Memorial services will be held Saturday January 13, 2018 at United Primitive Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Swainsboro Animal Shelter in memory of Marianne.

Survivors include son and daughter in law-- Jeffery and Angela Gray

granddaughters--Hannah Gray and Kirsten Gray
