Mackel Roberson, age 85, resident of Swainsboro, died Sunday afternoon at Pruitt Health. She  was born in Emanuel County and was the daughter of the late Ollie and Sadie Whittington Roberson.  Mackel was of the Baptist faith.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 11:00  from the chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home with Reverend Louis Pearce and Mack Griffin officiating. Interment will follow in Bithynia  Church Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be:Charles Flanders, William Josey, Cecil "Buster" Roberson, and Mack Griffin.   The  Family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service at the funeral home.

Flowers are appreciated and memorials may be made to Pruitt Health Resident Fund and Bithynia Cemetery Fund in memory of Mackel Roberson.

Survivors include a sister:   Jeanette R. Griffin (Mack who served as Mackel's caregiver)

Nephew:  Roger Trent Hall (Angie)

Niece:  Sherrie Jan Hall Reynolds (Mike)

Extended Family members and Employees and Patients of Pruitt Health of Swainsboro.
