Lula Paul "Paula" Roberts, 57, resident of Swainsboro, died Monday  June 8, 2020 at her residence .  Paula was born in Emanuel County,  daughter of  Laudice Pernell and Evie Dell Cooper Pernell.  She had worked in the Saw Repair Shop with her husband Mike for many years..  Paula was preceded in death by her father Laudice Pernell and her  brothers- J.L. Pernell, Arnold Pernell,  Gary Pernell, Dale Pernell, and Frank Pernell, and a sister- JoAnn Hackle .  She loved fishing and cooking for her kids and grandkids.

Graveside services for Paula Roberts will be held Thursday morning at 11:00 A.M. from Forest Lawn Cemetery in Dellwood with Reverend Jim Harrell officiating. Pallbearers will be:  Ronald Hackle, Steven Hackle, Joey Hackle, Steven Johnson, Jeremy Rowland, and Christopher Pinard.    Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 6-8 P.M. at Tomlinson Funeral Home.  Due to the COVID-19 pandemic,  social distancing requirements  will be  in place.

3 daughters- Laura Roberts Johnson(Johnnie Allen), Shana Roberts Wilkerson (Lester Carter),Michelle Roberts Cox(Jerry Cox)

son-Michael Roberts, Jr.(Courtney Wilkerson)

Beverly Gay (Glen)

Grandchildren--Brittany Edwards, Josh Cox, Kevin Allen, Justin Wilkerson,Bailey Wilkerson, Greenlee Johnson, Kaleb Allen, Jay Johnson, Aiden Wilkerson,Camren Cox,Brylen Cox,  Caitlyn Cox,  Graycen Cox and Layla Roberts.   Several nieces and nephews
