Obituary

June 11,2014 Mrs. Lucille Lewis Hill, 92, resident of Swainsboro, died Wednesday morning in Swainsboro. Mrs. Hill was a native and lifelong resident of Emanuel County. She was preceded in death by her husband James H. Hill , her grandson Michael Kay, Jr. , and her parents Jotti and Ava Waller Lewis. Lucille owned and operated Lewis's Hamburgers in Swainsboro for many years and later did babysitting for many families in Emanuel County. She was a member of Swainsboro First United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home with Elder Tommy Rountree officiating. Interment will follow in the Swainsboro City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Tyson Stephens, Smith Edenfield, Wendy Underwood, Bobby Reeves, and Wilder Smith. The Family will receive friends at Tomlinson Funeral Home one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Survivors include: Daughter - Nancy Hill (Michelle) GrandsonsNathan Kay, Matthew Kay, Charles King, and Justin Kay SisterVirginia Hall In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Southern Souls Rescue, 3902 Adams Chapel Road Harlem, GA 30814.
