Ms. Jones was a native and lifelong resident of Emanuel County.She was the daughter of the late Willie and Mattie Sumner Newman. She had worked as a nursing assistant with Emanuel County Hospital for many years. Funeral services for Ms. Louise Newman Jones will be held Saturday morning at 11:00 A.M. from the Chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home with Reverend Louis Pearce officiating. Interment will follow in New Hope Cemetery. Pallbearers will be : Andy Newman, Joseph Earls,Ricky Newman, Ricky Akridge, and James Akridge.
