Tomlinson Funeral Home & Crematory announces the death of Mr. Loran Harrison Scarboro age 67 of Vidalia on Friday, October 20, 2023 at Community Hospice of Vidalia.

A committal service with military honors will be Thursday, October 26, 2023 at 1:00PM at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Glennville, GA

Pallbearers are Steven Hurst and Jacob Kight.

Mr. Scarboro was born in Swainsboro, GA in 1956 to the late W. Thomas "Coot" and Reba Copeland Scarboro. He was a veteran serving in the Marine Corps. Loran loved spending time with his family, especially his grandson Jayton, and enjoyed having a beer. He was a former roofer, furniture repairman and appliance repairman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son Michael brothers Johnny Scarboro, and Thomas Gene Scarboro, Sr., and sister Betty Scarboro

His Daughter: Kacey Scarboro (Jacob Kight) of Vidalia, GA

His Grandson: Jayton Kight
