Mrs. Clark, born in Matthews, GA., formerly of Wadley, GA., had lived in Martinez for the past year. She was a homemaker and a member of Josey Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Clark and a great grandson, Blake Meadows. Funeral services will be Thursday afternoon at 2:00 pm. at Josey Baptist Church with Reverend Bill Snipes and Reverend Lewis Farrer officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Avera, GA. Pallbearers will be: Leon Farrer, Johnny Bartlett, James Kersey, William Stone, J.T. Thorne, Verlyn Smith, Jeremy Meadows, and Aaron Gay. She is survived by: A Son: L.C. Clark (Teresa) of Batow 6 Daughters: Margaret York (Johnny) of Wadley Dianne Irby of Augusta Audrey Clark of Augusta Sylvia Day of Bartow Sharon Wheeler (Roger) of Swainsboro Karen Reese (Emmett) of Hephzibah A brother: William Arrington (Bernice) of Augusta A sister: Ethel Lord of Hephzibah The family will receive friend Wednesday evening between the hours of 6 and 8 pm. at Smith Funeral Home.
