Mr. Grier was born in Emanuel County, but had lived in Jacksonville Beach for many years before returning to Swainsboro. He was retired from Best Services Transportation. Mr. Grier was a member of the Swainsboro Kiwanis Club, Wiregrass Chapter of Sons of American Revolution and First Families of Georgia. Memorial services will be Saturday, December 1, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home with Reverend Roger Holley officiating. He is survived by; 2 daughters; Lee Anne Drake (Bob) of Ocala, FL Ashley Biggers of Jacksonville, FL 3 Grandchildren: Cavi Drake, Leah Drake, and Bradley Biggers A brother: Tommy Francis Grier, Jr. of Centennial, CO 2 Sisters: Jane Durden (Chip) of Swainsboro Jill Briercheck (Glenn) of Greensburg, PA The family will have a time of visitation immediately following the service on Saturday.
