Leon Martin

Mr. Larry Leon Martin, 77, resident of Twin City, died Tuesday evening at his residence.  Mr. Martin was born in Swainsboro, son of the late Carey C. and Mamie Lou Rushton Martin. Leon was preceded in death by his parents, brothers- J.C. Martin, Jot Martin and Pete Martin, sisters- Mary Evelyn Jones, Dorothy McNure, Essie Turner and Myzelle Faircloth.     He was a farmer and a carpenter.  Leon was an avid fisherman, hunter and gardener.  He loved to spend time with his grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.

Memorial services will be held Sunday afternoon at 4:00P.M. in the chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home with Scott Weigl officiating. The Family will receive friends  at Tomlinson Funeral Home Sunday afternoon from 2:00P.M. until the funeral at 4:00P.M.

Survivors include ---wife of 59 years-- Martha Ann Howard Martin
