Porcel, age 67 of Metter, died Wednesday evening, March 26, 2014, at Morningside Assisted Living in Macon. Mr. Porcel was born in Emanuel and had lived in Emanuel County most of his life. He graduated from Wadley High School, attended Middle County College in Edison N.J., and Graduated from East Ga. College with an Associate of Science degree majoring in Business. He was a United States Air Force Veteran. He worked with the Department of Corrections, Dept of Public Saftey, MCCD Divison before retiring. He was a member of the Morningside Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents: William Vincent, and Laurene Lamb Porcel, Two Brothers; William Vincent, Jr. and Fred Eugene Porcel. Funeral services will be Saturday morning, March 29, 2014, at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home with Reverend Louis Pearce officiating. Interment will follow in the Eastbrook Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Nephews. He is survived by: His wife; Shirley Porcel of Metter 2 sons; Jeff and David Porcel 3 Step Children; Raleigh Kersey, Jr, Lynda Kilko, Cinda Kersey 4 Grandchildren 1 Great Grandchild 2 Brothers; Nick W.
