Mr. Kirk Lanier Pierce, 56, resident of Midway,Georgia, died unexpectedly Wednesday at his residence. Mr. Pierce was born in Savannah ,Georgia son of Love Lanier Pierce and Nainie Lee Edenfield Pierce. He was preceded in death by his father , Love L. Pierce. Mr. Pierce had retired from the Georgia Department of Corrections. He was a member of the Georgia Peace Officers Association and the NRA. Funeral services for Mr. Kirk L. Pierce will be held Saturday evening at 7:00 P.M. from the chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home with Reverend Louis Pearce officiating. The family will receive friends at Tomlinson Funeral Home Saturday afternoon between the hours of 5-7 P.M. Interment will be in the Stillmore City Cemetery. Survivors include : Wife---Jennifer Pierce, Midway,GA 2 Sons---Blane Pierce and Tyson Pierce , Midway,GA Mother-- Nainie Lee Pierce, Midway,GA Arrangements are by Tomlinson Funeral Home of Swainsboro
