Riddleberger,Sr. of Swainsboro, died Friday evening, October 28, 2011, at his residence. Mr.Riddleberger, Formerly of Lincolnton, Ga., was born in Fincastle, Virginia, had lived here for the past 4 years. He was Park Superintendent for D.W. Ollerich Memorial Park at Clark Hill Lake, a park for Gracewood Regional Hospital. He was retired from the United States Army, with over 20 years of service, and he was a member of the Church of the Brethren, Salem, Virginia, a life member of the VFW Post 5899 and Life member of DAV Chapter 10. He was preceded in death by, his parents, Ira and Ruby Riddleberger, a brother Max Riddleberger, and a sister, Willie Rae (sis) Plemmons. Funeral services will be Sunday afternoon at 3:00 pm. in the Chapel of Tomlinson Funeral Home with Reverend Tracy Gipson and Reverend Eugene Walls officiating. Interment will follow in the Antioch Church Cemetery, with Full Military Honors. Pallbearers will be: James Ward, Trent Holman, James Akridge, James Bell, Donny Wells, and Al Bland. Honorary Pall Bearers will be: Rocky Hendricks, Mark Perry, Bennie Williams, and Jim Workman Survivors include: His wife: Juanita Pruett Riddleberger of Swainsboro. A son: Kenneth A. Riddleberger, Jr.(Deborah). A daughter: Kathy R. Durden (Jesse Durden, Jr.) A granddaughter: Katie C. Durden A step grandson: Trent Holman (Sherry) 4 sisters: Arlene Spaulding, Carolyn Clayton, Anne Ulery, and Joyce Cushing. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2 until 3 pm at the Funeral Home.
