2/20/13 Katherine Louise McAvey, age 66, resident of Swainsboro,died Wednesday night at Unihealth Post Acute Care in Swainsboro. Mrs. McAvey was born in Millen, GA daughter of James Thomas Womack and Maxie Wilcher Booker. She had worked in the retail convenience store industry. Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 11:00 A.M. from Hines Baptist Church with Reverend Randy Walden officiating.
