Tomlinson Funeral Home & Crematory announces the death of Mr. Julian Alva "Al" McLendon age 59 of Twin City, GA on Sunday, August 6, 2023 at Community Hospice in Vidalia, GA.

The family will hold memorial services Saturday, August 12, 2023 at the Slater-Edenfield Cemetery.

Mr. McLendon was born in Savannah to the late Joe Alva and Shirly Ann Slater McLendon. He loved hunting, fishing, tinkering and fixing things.

Survivors Include:

Daughters: Mindie Green (Randy) of Twin City, GA and Monika Esco of Swainsboro, GA

Grandchildren: Kailie Query, Jackson Query, Jaxon Green, Henslee Green, Ella Esco, Lillian Esco, Zoe Garrett, & Peyton Morgan.

Great-Grandchild: Maverick Green

Sister: Lena M. Allen (Richard) of Millen, GA.

Niece: Tempestt Lumley

Nephew: Eric Hicks

Former Wife: Tammie Meeks

Extended Family: Carol Nichols, Krystina Skipper, Dwayne Nichols, Shiann Scarboro, & Gennie Ross
