Joyce Roberts Henry died on October 28th, 2026, at Pruitt Nursing Home in Louisville, Georgia. Joyce was born on November 6th, 1938, in Georgia where she remained all her life. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis and Mary Hannah Roberts, her brothers, Wayne Roberts and Raymond Roberts, and her beloved son, Jeffrey Scott Hunt. She was also preceded in death by her husband, High Henry.

Joyce loved sewing as a hobby and was always particularly proud of the dresses she lovingly created for her daughter. She also was a professional, sewing and doing alterations for many prominent local businesses.

She loved travelling, and being surrounded by children, her own grandchildren in particular.

Joyce is survived by her younger brother, Glenn Roberts of Wadley, Georgia, her daughter, Wanda Hunt, her grandchildren Kristin Hardy (Daniel Hardy), Jacob Helton, Laura Helton (Derek Stevens), and Avin Helton (Josh Rollins) - all scattered throughout East Alabama, Florida, and Georgia respectively. She is also survived by two great grandchildren, Piper Hardy and Trenton Hardy, as well as many nieces and nephews.
